Our pool

At Balham Swim School we have an 'endless' pool.

For babies or toddlers, it is a calm setting, free of distractions and the ideal place to begin their swimming journey with you. For slightly older children joining a swimming class independently for the first time, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. Our fun and personalised approach can help reduce any anxiety that may be experienced in a larger facility. Learning becomes focussed, to produce steady swimming progress. 

The flow of water from the jet(s) in our 'endless' pool is adjustable, so that when a child is learning to swim, a gentle jet of water will allow the child to feel their body supported in the water. As confidence builds and strokes are added, the jet can be increased in order to build strength and stamina and in time, a great swimming technique. It's the ultimate safe swimming pool environment, where our experienced swim coaches are no more than an arm's length away.
